"ROMANS SERIES CONTINUED PART 3" July 10th. 2016 "The Great Good Gospel" Romans 1:3-4 By Pastor Ray Sleiman (Audio)
Romans 1:3-4 (NKJV) 3 concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, 4 and declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead. John 10:33 (NKJV) 33 The Jews answered Him, saying, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God.” Jeremiah 23:5-6 (NKJV) 5 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness; A King shall reign and prosper, And execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. 6 In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell safely; Now this is His name by which He will be called: Jeremiah 22:30 (NKJV) 30 Thus says the Lord: ‘Write this man down as childless, A man who shall not prosper in his days; For none of his descendants shall prosper, Sitting on the throne of David, And ruling anymore in Judah.’” Romans 10:9 (NKJV) 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 1 Corinthians 8:4 (NKJV) 4 Therefore concerning the eating of things offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one. Matthew 22:41-45 (NKJV) 41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,42 saying, “What do you think about the Christ? Whose Son is He?”They said to Him, “The Son of David.”43 He said to them, “How then does David in the Spirit call Him ‘Lord,’ saying:44 ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”’?45 If David then calls Him ‘Lord,’ how is He his Son?” Philippians 2:5-11 (NKJV) 5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bond servant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. John 5:23 (NKJV) 23 that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. Matthew 11:29 (NKJV) 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Acts 9:6 (NKJV) 6 So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?”Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.” Acts 26:16-19 (NKJV) 16 But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you.17 I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you,18 to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’ Matthew 28:20 (NKJV) 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
